Tesla has quietly expanded its presence in Thailand with the installation of its first Supercharger station in the country. The station, located at the Central World shopping center in Bangkok, was installed secretly and is equipped with the latest Supercharger V.3 technology, which boasts a maximum DC charging rate of 250 kW.
The first batch of vehicles will be delivered to customers at the beginning of next month, February 2023, at the first Tesla store in Thailand, located at The Paseo รามคำแหง(Ram Khamhaeng). The Paseo รามคำแหง(Ram Khamhaeng) location will also serve as the first store for test drives, service, and vehicle pick-up in the country.
This news was revealed by the source “Tesla Model Y Owner Thailand,” which suggests that Tesla has been working behind the scenes to establish a foothold in the Thai market. With the addition of this Supercharger station, Tesla owners in Thailand will now have access to convenient and reliable charging options as they travel around the country.
