Bangkok, July 18, 2024 – SAIC Motor-CP Co., Ltd. and MG Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the manufacturers and distributors of MG cars in Thailand, are set to deliver the first 250 units of the NEW MG CYBERSTER, a 2-seater electric sports roadster, to their initial customers. This model comes with a lifetime warranty on its high-voltage batteries, drive motors, and motor control units.
Earlier this year, MG officially launched the NEW MG CYBERSTER, a right-hand drive electric sports roadster that has captivated the global audience, including Thailand. Designed by SAIC’s Advanced Design Studio in London, UK, this model features striking gullwing doors with touch-open technology and a soft-top roof.
The CYBERSTER is powered by a dual Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, offering an impressive 544 horsepower with all-wheel drive. It boasts a meticulously crafted design that exudes a classic sporty feel both inside and out. The vehicle is packed with advanced technology and safety features, including the ADVANCED SYNCHRONIZED PROTECTION SYSTEM with 26 safety systems. Available in three exterior colors—Flame Red, Photon Yellow, and Bullet Silver—the interior comes in two-tone options: black-red for red and yellow exteriors, and gray-white for the silver exterior. The starting price is 2,499,000 Baht, which is approximately $72,471 USD, with deliveries to the first customers beginning in late July 2024.
