Tesla has made its debut in Thailand with the delivery of its Model 3 and Model Y vehicles on February 10th, 2023. However, due to internal issues and the fact that Tesla is new to the Thai market, the company is only able to deliver 45 cars daily.
Tesla’s delivery process is innovative and contactless, with Tesla Advisors broadcasting instructions to customers through a shared frequency on the cars’ radios. Customers can ask questions by raising their hand and a representative will come to assist them. This process is similar to a drive-thru experience at a restaurant, allowing customers to communicate with staff whenever they need to.
All of the Tesla vehicles delivered in Thailand come with a white license plate, indicating that the car has been registered. This is a significant milestone for Tesla and the electric vehicle market in Thailand, as the company continues to expand its reach and promote sustainable transportation.
